A peat bog reserve, the object of protection is a set of primary peat vegetation. It protects high peat bog in the area least exposed to degradation compared to other peat reserves in the Bieszczady Mountains. It is located in the commune of Lutowiska, in the Stuposiany Forest District, in the San River bend just off the border with Ukraine. It is difficult to access and thanks to that it has preserved valuable natural and landscape values. Numerous animal species and interesting flora with a dozen protected species find their home here.
