The reserve is located in the Otryt range on the southern slope of the Hulskie mountain. The area is protected by a fragment of the Bieszczady Primeval Forest. This is one of the most easily accessible areas where we can see how the Bieszczady forest looked centuries ago. A 3 km long nature and educational trail runs through the reserve. Its route leads through forests and spring areas. The flora of the reserve is extremely rich. It has about 300 species of the Eastern Carpathian type, e.g. clove clove, forest salad and aconite. It is also the area of occurrence of large predators such as bear, wolf, lynx. We can also meet bison and deer here.
