The Szepit waterfall on the Hylaty stream is the most effective and largest waterfall in the Bieszczady Mountains. It is located within the village of Zatwarnica. It is relatively easy to reach it, walking along the flowing Hylaty stream, after about 300 m we reach the waterfall. This place is marked. The waterfall on Hylaty is 8 meters high, surrounded by stony banks and rocks. He was once a few dozen meters below. However, it shifted in 1962-1933, due to the army obtaining stone from here for the construction of the road running next to it. Today, an obelisk commemorating the construction is nearby. The left bank of the Hylaty stream is protected by a wall, which prevents landslides into the stream bed. The waterfall lies on the route of the "Hylaty" path, the access is well marked, and in the summer of 2014 new safeguards and stairs were made to descend the stream by the waterfall.
