Forest nature reserve with an area of 130.88 ha. It was established by the Ordinance of the Minister of Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry on November 12, 1996. The purpose of creating a forest reserve is to preserve the natural community of the Carpathian beech forest. There are well-preserved old trees, sycamore, beech and fir. There are a significant number of ancient trees. The terrain in the reserve is very attractive, rich in a network of streams, slopes sharply cutting into the ground, on which isolated heartwood bands rise.
