The church was built in 1844. Currently, it functions as a Roman Catholic parish church. Inside is a historic iconostasis. There is a stone belfry next to the building. Next to the church there is a monument honoring 40 Poles - victims of the German occupier from 1942–1944. The inscription reads: "The place sanctified by the blood of Poles murdered by Nazi torturers in the years 1942 - 1944". Society of the city of Sanok 1974 ".
