A defensive building in the late Gothic style, erected in 1538 in place of an earlier wooden castle after the Kmita family moved from nearby Sobienie. The castle was originally owned by the Grand Marshal of the Crown Piotr Kmita Sobieński, coat of arms Szreniawa. The castle is surrounded by a park of 7 hectares. Located in the city center, 200 m from the San River. From the north, the building has the appearance of a medieval fortress, and from the south you can see the characteristic shapes of the Renaissance residence. Fragments of the defensive walls have been preserved from the west, from the east a round tower dominates the castle. The remains of the former forum are also visible. The castle has a carved stone Renaissance portal located over the courtyard, which was moved here in 1924 from the Mniszków castle in Laski Murowane. Traces of sgraffito are visible on the walls from the north-west side. At present, the facility is fully adapted to the needs of the hotel. It is an attractive holiday destination, from its terrace there is a picturesque view of San and nearby hills.
