Address: Śródmieście , Sanok
It is the largest mountain type park in Poland. It is located in the very center of the city with the dominant hill of Parkowa Mountain. The initiator and founder of the city park was August Ścibor-Rylski, who himself planted the first trees here. In 1898, the Sanok City Council gave the park and street running from the east the name of Adam Mickiewicz on the hundredth anniversary of his birth. At the beginning of the 19th century, on the Parkowa Mountain, young people celebrated the 3rd of May Constitution festival by burning huge bonfires from junipers. During World War I, the park's area was destroyed due to devastation. In the interwar period, there were several gazebos in the park. Currently, there are facilities in the park, primarily of a historical nature.
