The peak in the Western Bieszczady, through which the Main Beskids Trail runs on the section Smerek - Orłowicz Pass - Szare Berdo - Osadzki Wierch - "Chatka Puchatka". The culmination is 1108 m above sea level. It is the lowest peak of the Połonina Wetlińska massif. It rises between Osadzki Wierch and Smerek. Gray Berd's ridge has a gentle slope. The area around the summit is covered with forest, which separates two pastures, one covering Smerek and Orłowicz Pass and the other, proper Połonina Wetlińska. There are also numerous glades here, and the ridge itself is covered with a narrow strip of pasture.
