Bieszczady National Park is the third largest national park in Poland, located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, at the border with the Slovak Republic and Ukraine. The Bieszczady Mountains are an extremely attractive region for hiking, horse riding, mountain biking (in designated areas), cross-country skiing as well as nature photography. Since about 70% of the park is strictly protected, making the park available for visiting requires proper preparation of hiking trails, nature paths and constant supervision over compliance with regulations for visitors. In the park, hiking along marked hiking trails is preferred.
