The monastery has been operating since May 1928. It was established as the House of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in the Przemyśl diocese. At the beginning of 1927, five sisters lived in a rented house, dealing mainly with the parish church and sacristy. The wooden house, recognized as a monument with a stone ground floor in the Swiss style, was built in a mountain glade by builders from Rymanów in 1929, and was consecrated in 1931. During the occupation, Germans quartered in the monastery. At the same time, nuns hid wanted priests and people of Jewish origin, helped them escape abroad and contacted couriers. The historic building of the monastery was entered into the register of immovable monuments under No. A-235.
