An existing and active Orthodox church in Komańcza, which is a parish temple. It belongs to the Sanok deanery of the Przemyśl-Nowy Sącz diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church. Located on the Podkarpackie Wooden Architecture Trail. The church was erected in the years 2008–2010, in the place of an earlier one from 1802, burnt down on September 13, 2006, after which a bell tower from 1834 remained, and wooden orthodox crosses have survived. The new temple was consecrated on October 14, 2010 under the same invitation - Protection of the Mother of God. The current church is a replica of the previous, wooden, in Lemko style. It has characteristic colorful domes. The church belfry was dismantled and rebuilt again.
