The parish church in Jałów from 1903, St. Mikołaj, is the second wooden church in this village. The previous one was built in 1803. After 1951. for a short time it was used by settlers as a Roman Catholic church, which led to its closure by the authorities until 1971. In 1970, residents passed around the sealed church with a miraculous image of Our Lady of the Bieszczady from Jasień, for which they faced harassment by state administration authorities. From 1971, it served as a Roman Catholic church. Assumption of the Mother of God. The church has a log structure, oriented, lined with shingle, three-part. The chancel is enclosed by a straight wall with an oculus (round window), a sacristy adjoins it from the north. Upper and wider nave - adjoins the lower women's gallery with the vestibule. Three parts of the church are covered with separate ridge roofs topped with turrets with crosses. Around the building, eaves roof covering the lower parts of the framework. A segmented vault in the nave. In the main altar there is currently a picture of the Assumption of the Mother of God, on the right an icon with the Archangel Michael, on the left an image of the Mother of God of Częstochowa. On the north wall of the presbytery, a picture of Christ blessing with the image of the founder's family. Inside are fragments (frames) of the iconostasis from 1902. - the remains of what was not stolen and devastated in the 1960s. The church located on a hill, among the meadows blooming in spring and summer, makes a fantastic impression. Tombstones at the adjacent cemetery were renovated in 1993. by the "Magurycz" informal stonemasons group. On the extension of the building there is a screen bell tower, built of red brick, and several tombstones from the beginning of the 20th century. There are messages that after the war there was a UPA field quarters with dugouts and underground dungeons. Currently, the building of the church St. Nicholas is used as a Catholic church. Assumption of the Mother of God. Near the church there is also a ruin of a Roman Catholic court chapel with a crypt. It is possible that this is the tomb of Anna Nowosielska, to which the Jałowe estate belonged. This chapel was built around 1882. It is not known exactly if anyone is buried there, because the parish books that were exported in 1939. before the Soviet army by the then priest, priest The elbow burned.
