A characteristic rock formation located on a hill in the village of Glinne near the city of Lesko. The height of the stone is about 410-420 m a.s.l., it is an outcrop of coarse-grained Krosno sandstone, hard and weatherproof building material. The main rock of Lesko Stone rises about 20 m above the culmination of the hill on which it is located. It has a majestic, original shape resulting from both erosion and human activities. There was once a quarry on the north side of the stone. On the top of the great stone in 1978 an iron cross was set. Lesko Stone as an important element of the surrounding culture, has many legends related to its shape and origin. The most famous of them says about the sixteenth-century church in Lesko, according to this legend, the stone is the result of the devil's unsuccessful attempt to destroy Christianity in this area. Several legends are found on tablets mounted on stone. Lesko's stone is also an inspiration for art. He was mentioned several times in the literature. Among others, Aleksander Fredro wrote a special poem about him '' Stone above Lisek ''. Wincenty Pol, Oskar Kolberg and Stanisław Staszic also wrote about him.
