Halicz is the third highest peak in the Polish Bieszczady Mountains and the entire Western Bieszczady Mountains. It is located in the eastern part of the Tarnica group, between Kopa Bukowska and Rozsypaniec. From Halicz there is a beautiful panorama of the Polish and Ukrainian part of the Bieszczady Mountains. It is best seen from the upper part of the San Valley stretching towards the Użocka Pass, and in the south-east direction Rozsypaniec, Połonina Bukowska with Kińczyk Bukowski and the highest Bieszczady peaks with Pikuje. According to medieval legend, the borders of Poland, Hungary and Ruthenia once converged at the top of Halicz. For the most part, Halicz is overgrown with lush flora, and there is also a rare variety of Bukovinian and thyme blight in Poland. You can go to Halicz by following the red hiking trail: Wołosate - Rozsypaniec - Halicz - Przełęcz pod Tarnicy - Szeroki Wierch - Ustrzyki Górne.
