Former Greek Catholic church, currently functioning as a Roman Catholic church. The present church is not the first to be established in Michniowiec. It is known that a similar object existed here in 1557. The present church was founded in 1868 after five years of construction. A major renovation of the church took place in 1924, when the sacristy and vestibule were renovated. Before the war, a choir was added, circulating most of the church, renovated in 1983. The church is a wooden building on a stone foundation, tripartite, oriented. According to specialists, this type of spatial arrangements used in this building are absent in Ukrainian construction, which means that this church should be considered a representative of a separate current.
