The temple was built in 1834, currently the Roman Catholic parish church. Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The temple is one of the few representatives of the classicizing trend in wooden church architecture. A monument of the wooden architecture trail of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The Orthodox church in Czarna is an orientated, three-section temple with a log structure. From the south and north, the sacristy adjoins the presbytery. Above all parts gable roofs. Above the nave, an octagonal turret ended with a spherical helmet. On the west wall a six-column portico, crowned with a triangular gable. The church has an iconostasis that has been moved to the rear wall of the presbytery. Other equipment moved to museums - the tsarist gate to the Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok, the feretron and the figure of the Virgin Mary to the Department of Orthodox Art at the Castle Museum in Łańcut.
