The facility is located on the right side of the road and is surrounded by old trees. Partially fenced area, in front of the church there is an impressive brick bell tower from 1939. The church was founded in 1901-1902 and accepted the call of St. Archangel Michael. The church's designer was probably Lviv architect Vasyl Nahirny. He also designed similar churches in Lipie and Lutowiska (both currently do not exist). It is a wooden building, set on a broken stone foundation, oriented (presbytery facing east), tripartite, with a log structure. It is included in the so-called Ukrainian national style, which refers to the Hutsul churches. The main features of this type of church are: arrangement on the Greek cross plan (but also three-part churches on the longitudinal plan) and one or three main domes. Four such objects have survived to this day in Bieszczady, apart from Bystry, they are Chmiel, Hoszów and Hoszowczyk.
