The church in Lutowiska - in the summer of 1890, the fire completely destroyed an almost one-hundred-year-old Greek Catholic church serving well (in harmony) in Lutowiska and the surrounding area to Poles and Ruthenians. The rebuilt church was raised to the rank of a parish church. Poles were bothered by the lack of their own temple. Therefore, in 1898, they erect a Roman Catholic chapel. In 1905 the chaplain was taken over by priest Michał Huciński, vicar from Bircza, later parish priest, dean, prelate and finally papal chamberlain. On his initiative, with his earnest efforts and the support of many people, a raw church is being built. World War I brings new destruction. After the reconstruction in 1923, the church is consecrated. The Second World War lasted in Lutowiska 12 years. The local population is annihilated: Jews shot, Poles and Ruthenians deported. Lutowiska become Shevchenko. The church, after being looted and devastated, serves as a stable. After regulation of the borders in 1951, Lutowiska together with a part of the Bieszczady Mountains return to Poland. However, the church is still deteriorating and the masses. They are celebrated in the church. For good the faithful regain the temple in 1960. Again, the church was consecrated in October 1963. In May 1986, after receiving a new decor, the church is consecrated to St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr. Renovation work is the efforts of parishioners that have been carried out continuously to this day. The parish church in Lutowiska was entered in the register of monuments as a cultural asset constituting "the only example of neo-Gothic sacred architecture in the area of the Polish Bieszczady Mountains".
