The wooden Greek Catholic parish church in Leszczowatem was built in 1922 in place of an older wooden church from 1771. The general renovation of the temple took place in 1937. North of the church was once a brick chapel founded in 1861 by the owner of the village. Currently there is no trace of her. A new one was put in its place. After the war, the church was taken over by the Roman Catholic church.
