The Galician market in Sanok is a municipal sector at the Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok. It was officially opened on September 16, 2011. The market area presents examples of urbanization of small towns occurring in 13 Podkarpackie towns. These include replicas of houses from Dębowiec, Jaśliska, Sanok, Jaćmierz, Niebylec, Jedlicze, Bircza, Rybotycz, Sokołów, Brzozów and Stara Wieś as well as traditional buildings from Ustrzyki Dolne, including a Jewish house and a firehouse from Golcowa. Each object of the Sanok open-air museum constituting the building of the market, according to its function, has been equipped with appropriate furniture, equipment and devices giving visitors a full picture of life, work and rest of the inhabitants of the Galician town. The market was opened by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bogdan Zdrojewski, who said: "One cannot forget about the heritage that is falling apart, it is disappearing. It is a heritage of everyday but distant day. The Galician Market is such a good example [...] I will always mention this investment as a benchmark investment worth building a complete cultural offer in Poland. '' Various events organized by the Ethnographic Park in Sanok, as well as those of an urban nature take place in the market square. These are concerts, fairs, fairs.
