The church from Bączal Dolny - a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint. Mikołaj, built in 1667 in Bączal Dolny from the foundation of the then owner of Bączal and the surrounding lands, Jan Łętowski together with a 14th-century crypt. Some sources indicate that from the end of the eighteenth century to the mid-nineteenth century, the church and the seat of the parish were located in Bączal Górny. Currently, as a high-class monument is located in the Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok. Stanisław Kołodziej - a servant of God of the Catholic Church and a martyr - was strongly associated with the church. The church from Bączal Dolny is a typical example of the Malopolska wooden church. The church is one of the most valuable monuments of wooden religious architecture of south-eastern Poland.
