According to local tradition, the name of the village of Zwierzyń comes from a cross that was found 150 years ago by a woman from the cross - Zwizenye from the "Wozdywenje frequent chresta". Until World War II, this well was surrounded by a cult. From here today a wooden cross appears as a souvenir. Every year, hundreds of faithful came here in a solemn procession, and the priest sacrificed the source. The cross, recovered as a well, was in the local church until 1922, and is now in the Diocesan Museum in Przemyśl. A wonderful spring is located 1.5 km south of the center of Zwierzyń, by the tourist trail leading through a small hill to the dam in Myczkowce. In the 90s it was renovated, a small cave with a statue of the Virgin Mary was built in its surroundings.
