The temple was built in 1753 and was formerly dedicated to St. Trinity. In 1801 a fire took place in the wooden Greek Catholic church and presbytery buildings in Trepcza, after which in 1804 the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franciszek II Habsburg gave the church to St. To the trinity of the old post-sociocese church by agreeing to expand it. The building was rebuilt in 1807. Currently it is made of stone, oriented. On August 14, 1807, the temple was consecrated. At the end of the 19th century, a vestibule was added, in 1893 a polychrome was made, and the tower with a bell tower was expanded, which has three floors today. Until 1945, the temple served the faithful of the Greek Catholic rite.
