One of the oldest settlements in the Bieszczady Mountains founded in 1376. At that time, the Sanok starosta Piotr separated two neighboring gentry villages owned by Oleśka (Olescho): Myczkowce and Terpiczów (today the Middle Village). The division was approved by King Władysław Jagiełło in 1425 with a royal privilege.
