In the years 1944-1951, the town belonged to the Soviet Union and was in Poland under a border swap agreement. In the years 1977-1981 the village was called the official name of Lisówek. The village has a former Greek Catholic parish church. Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, erected probably in 1832.
