The village is located in the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains. A trail follows the trail of the good soldier Szwejk through the village. In the fourteenth century - a village in the valley of the Strwiąż river by the stream called Krościenko was founded by the Ukrainian Hriczko Rozputowski on a raw root and Wallachian law.
