The church was built in 1844. Renovated successively in 1884, 1909 and 1922. After the village returned to Poland in 1951, the church served the Forest Construction Board as a warehouse for fertilizers and building materials. In 1973 it was taken over by the Roman Catholic church. In 1978 it underwent a general renovation. The church in Brzegi Dolne is a two-part temple with a log structure. Two sacristies are adjacent to the presbytery, of which the southern one was added during renovation in 1909. The nave is wider than the presbytery. Above both parts, gable roofs. A spherical tower above the nave. Elements of the original movable equipment have not survived in the temple. The figural and ornamental polychrome has been preserved on the walls and ceilings. The 18th century sculptures, which are the most valuable equipment, come from the church in Przeworsk.
