The village of Berehy Dolne was located under Wallachian law in 1532. At the end of the 18th century, a German settlement called Siegenthal was established in the village as part of Josephine colonization, which existed until 1940. At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the village was owned by Antoni Pogłodowski, and in 1903 he bought it from him Teodor Alfred Serwatowski.
