A village in Poland, depopulated on the Polish side of the border with Ukraine, in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, in the Bieszczady poviat, in the Lutowiska commune, on the San River. The name of the village comes from the name of Benedict, the first settler. The village was founded under Wallachian law around 1537 by the Kmita family. Piotr Kmita Sobieński until 1553.
