The village lies on the wooden architecture trail of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. In 1420, King Władysław Jagiełło gave the knight Ivan Włszyn the emptiness of Hoszów in the Przemyśl Land. Hoszów covered the entire catchment area of the Strywnik, Pastewnik and Rabe streams. Further villages arose as a result of internal divisions of these goods.
